What these terms cover.
These terms apply to your use of nessimworks.com (the “site”), operated by Nessim Works, a digital consulting firm based in Rockville, Maryland. They do not constitute a master services agreement, statement of work, or any other client contract. If you engage Nessim Works for services, that engagement is governed by a separate, signed agreement that supersedes anything on this page.
What is and is not allowed.
You agree to use the site for its intended purpose: learning about our practice, contacting us, and reading published material. You will not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its underlying infrastructure, or any account.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system without advance written permission. Coordinated disclosure is welcome at security@nessimworks.com.
- Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or mirror substantial portions of the site for commercial purposes without permission.
- Submit content through the contact form that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or designed to harass.
- Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or origin of any communication you send through the site.
Who owns what is published here.
All text, images, code samples, and design on the site are owned by Nessim Works or licensed to us. You may quote excerpts of journal posts and reference our work with attribution. You may not republish substantial portions, repackage them as your own, or use our name, wordmark, or visual identity in a way that implies endorsement without written permission.
Links going out.
The site may link to third-party resources. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Following an external link is at your discretion.
The site is provided as is.
The site and everything on it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Articles, opinions, and code samples are published for general information; they are not engineering advice for your situation.
What we are not on the hook for.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nessim Works is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site. Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars. None of this limits any rights you have under your client contract with us, if you have one.
Where disputes are resolved.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that the parties cannot resolve in good faith will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Maryland.
When we update these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date in the page meta reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
